Some background information: My wife and I moved into our first home about 5 months ago. Since we have moved in, we have tried to get each room in order. It seems like every time we found something we brought with us from the apartment we didn't need at the moment, we threw it in the basement. By the time we were done, our full 18'10" x 18' basement looked more like a giant storage closet. Here are the before pictures as of today, November 22nd, 2009:
As you can see, looking down the stairs into the finished basement, it is a junk closet for the time being, full of boxes, a freezer, fridge, table, chairs etc. Some of this I will be able to keep and put to good use, but some of it either needs to find a place, or has to go.
